MIKVAH

Kadoorie Mekor Haim Synagogue has a mikvah in a comfortable and climatized environment. Should you wish to use it, please contact our balanit Tsipora: thetsipi@hotmail.fr

BIKUR

Visiting the sick is an important mitzvah in Judaism. Our rabbi is available to provide that emotional and spiritual assistance. To request a visit to a sick person, please write to info@comunidade-israelita-porto.org

CEMETERY

The Jewish Community of Oporto inaugurated its new cemetery in 2023, after more than five hundred years without a cemetery in the city (the last one was destroyed in 1497). The Isaac Aboab Field of Equality Cemetery (Cemitério Campo da Igualdade Isaac Aboab) references Chief Rabbi Isaac Aboab who, after the Jews were expelled from Castile, found shelter in Oporto where he lived out the last years of his life.
