Culture

The Jewish Community of Oporto is the European organization that most actively promotes Jewish culture and Jewish history. This mission is carried out through the Jewish Museum, the Holocaust Museum, the community’s painting gallery, the Mekor Haim Choir, and the production of educational and historical films about the Jewish community and the history of the Jews in Portugal.

These initiatives form part of the community’s wider strategy to strengthen Jewish identity and combat antisemitism.
